Course Description

British Literature
is a chronological survey of classic and representative literary works by British authors, sutdied within historical  and retrospective contexts, from the Anglo-Saxon to Postmodern ages.  Through reading, informal and creative writing, discussion, and dramatic activity, students are required to form meaningful responses to a variety of course texts that includes poetry, prose, fiction, and drama.
